I'm a big fan of Doraemon.
I watch its TV series, I read and collect its books.
I used to get amused with those things came out from Doraemon's pocket.
.....and I wished I had one.

But that was my wish during my childhood.
And I'm no longer had that kind of wish
EXCEPT for the Memory Bread.
*I think I really need this one*

Process of memorizing will be easier by eating this one.
All you have to do is eat, and automatically you'll memorize what ever is written on the bread.
Easy huh? :D

nice breakfast!

Perfecto! This is what I REALLY need for my stat class :)

But, Allah has created for human, an aql, a brain so we can fully utilize it.
Our brain is such an amazing creation.
The more we explore, the more we know on our brain's ability.
So don't ever limit our brain capability in memorizing things.
Brain is not even similar to external hard disk or flash drive.
Some is unlimited in its capacity and duration.
We only need the right technique to encode, store and retrieve them back :)

p/s: Go go Leqa!! One more page to go!!

Let say if tomorrow madam decide to have tasmi',
I'm pretty sure I will do it quite well.
Not because I'm really prepared for that. Nooo~
But, it is might be due to level of desperateness.

It is just the same when I was in halaqah 1&2.
The given period for us to memorize selected ayah and hadith was long enough.
But we enjoyed our free time and watched time flying by...

and...
when the moment for tasmi' was so close, it seemed like everything was easily absorbed by the brain.

Zzzzuuuup, done verse 1.
Zzzzuuuuuuuuup, longer sound for longer ayah.
Another zzzzzup. Ok, done for hadiths.

So all the zuppping process ran smoothly untill I finished tasmi' with my faci.
When we were on our way back to mahallah...heh, it was hard for us to recall them back.
I guess, all of the memorized items were stored temporarily?

Zulaiqa.....please don't do it again~!

Most of friends are now using touch screen or smart phone.
Even my family suggest to buy one *don't keep suggesting, give me one, instead :D*
And it is good to see they are fully utilizing it for good purposes.
Download Quran and Hadith apps so they can read it anywhere anytime they want to.

I wish I have one.
I believe it helps me a lot to complete my memorization task *muahaha. really zulaiqa? Seriously?*
But I know, it is not that easy to show my wish list to my parents.
And....even if the list is approved, the time taken for my list to become realized is uncertain :/

So, let's be more realistic Zulaiqa.
Instead of buying new phone, I just download a Quranic application for my phone.
And it works just fine, alhamdulillah...

BUT! *it is a must word in my entries*
my phone screen is too small . Eh, I mean, not wide enough for me to read the Quranic verses.
And....it is not in rasm Uthmani. So images displayed through my phone is a little bit contradict on what have been stored in memory. Usually in one page of the Quran, there will be Yaasin verse 1-12, but through my phone only 3-4 ayah.

Ok, so reciting Quran through phone is a no-no for me.
Maybe I just love the traditional way :)

Salam,

it's Sunday people!!
Ok. Let me share with you, my ideal Sunday would be a bright and shiny day.
Where I can do some outdoors activities or even hang out with my friends in the morning.
*ah! could hear Sebiru Hari Ini keep playing in my head right now*

But, right here, right now...my Sunday is not even close as what I wished it could be.
Today will be the only day where I am supposed to finish up my assignments.. Its already at the end of week 10th! Only four weeks left and I could imagine the final exams start waving at me~ T_T

....but, I'm not really sure whether I can memorize new ayah for the next 3-4 days since IPAC is just around the corner, on Tuesday. So my time, my effort will start to be shift to IPAC. It is kind of scary to say it, but I have to: bye-bye books, notes, assignments & quiz. We'll meet soon, insya-Allah :')

p/s: Don't forget to come. 73 Doors, only one truth! :)

I like citrusI love green apple!

emm...emm...and these too >.< *sometimes*

I was told that eating sour things make one hard to memorize something, especially Quranic verses. My friend told me when we were in Form 5 and it was so hard for me to believe it. I believed it is actually based on the individual differences. So I just ignored it and consumed above items normally.

So one day, while waiting for my father to send me back to hostel, I opened the fridge and guess what did I found? A small bag of jeruk! Yeay. I took just a piece of it and got into a car.

Usually I would memorize one page of Quran as preparation for my QTH class.
But..
But..
But..
...on that day,it was soooo hard for me to memorize it. Not even half! I managed to memorize only two lines...and of course, I was not allowed to sit during the whole class time on the next day.

So I wondered, it the statement from my friend is true?
If it is true, does the sour things really react that quick?
Hmmm...maybe I should do some research here.

...and for the meantime, bye-bye green apple & citrus.
I'm gonna miss you!

Saya pernah cuba jawab, rasa macam salah dah hari tu.

Saya pun cuba istiqamah mengamalkan al-Mulk setiap malam, sebelum tidur.
Tapi selalunya tak habis sebab terlelap sebelum sudah -___-
Ok, lepas ni baca lepas isya' lah.

Tapi, laaagi chantek dan molek kalau kita tahu maksud dan penceritaan di sebalik al-Mulk tu sendiri kan? Al-Mulk. Kerajaan. Kerajaan siapa? Cuba teka lagi~
Cukup seminggu baru kasi jawapan.

Salam,
as I've promised in my last post, I will update the progress of my memorization.
Alhamdulillah, I've finished memorizing surah al-Mulk perfectly.
Perfectly here means in terms of memorization, not with tarannum or what so ever. No, no~

For surah Yaasin, I've managed to memorize up to verse 21.
Well, there are reasons why I finished memorize al-Mulk faster than Yaasin.
And those reasons will be updated in the next entry~ :)

By the way, this week is my turn to take care of Lisa & Boy (hamsters for our Psychology of Learning group project). I'm hoping that they'll stay in good health and getting fatter, perhaps. Please don't die during my turn O.O~

p/s: i wish i can upload their pictures here. Oh sony cable, where are you?

Salam reader(s),
sorry for the two weeks of unexpected of hibernation. The past two weeks have been so hectic and I was unable to update my memorization progress.

Okey, back to the track. Actually I already set a target so by the end of the project I manage to memorize Yaasin and al-Mulk successfully. I try to memorize 10 ayah from Yaasin and 4 ayah from al-Mulk each week and of course, there are some strategies for achieving that:

1. Read both surah in prayers instead of surahs in Juz Amma
2. Try to memorize 2 new ayah before going to bed. If not, at least read them repeatably.
3. Use imagination. Try to visualize the story of the ayahs
4. Try to understand the meaning of the ayahs been memorized. If it in narrative form, try to memorize them in sequence.
I used to apply these tips during my secondary years since we had to at least memorize 1 juz in a year. So theoretically, I was expected to already memorized 6 juzu' including Juz Amma, but.......there is a huge BUT there. aiyah~

So, until now...how many ayah I managed to memorize?? I'll post it in the next entry. Yeahh~

introduction

Salam,
it has been a while since the last time I updated my blog.
Of course not this blog, another one which me myself have no idea when it will have new entry~!

Frankly speaking after almost one year not visiting blogger.com,
it took me almost 2 hours just to create a new blog. *dush-dush*
That's why only this morning I am able to update an introduction entry here.

Some may ask *maybe some don't even bother* why I created new blog.
The first and the only reason is because it is an assignment for Psychology of Learning.
We have been assigned to memorize Surah Yaasin (compulsory) and another surah (either Al-Mulk or Al-Waqiah) starting from 3rd October until the end of project.
So I've decided to memorize al-Mulk because it is easier to recall than Al-Waqiah.

So, for next entries I will update my progress in memorizing both surah. Hopefully I manage to keep updating it. Oh iium wifi, please give your cooperation. Thank you!
